™-iPS is a kit that can reprogram various cell into induced pluripotent stem cells. Its mechanism of action is to use Sendai virus to deliver Yamanaka factors. There is evidence that these factors are crucial for efficient production of iPSC. With differerent from the “Normal version", this kit integrates four kinds of "Yamanaka factors" into the same Sendai virus, which greatly improves the efficiency of iPSC induction.

Features of the MeltonVEC™-iPSC Reprogramming Kit (Plus) :

• Induction of various cell types-Only Sendai virus can induce various cell types.
• Ease of use—still requires only one application of the virus to obtain successful reprogramming;
• Rapid clearance— MeltonVEC™-iPSC Reprogramming Kit products use the non-integrating Sendai virus that remains in the cytoplasm, reducing the likelihood of integration into the host genome.
MeltonVEC™-iPSC Reprogramming system is still one of the simpler methods that can be used for cell reprogramming. The virus only needs to be applied once, without the need for several days of transduction to complete mRNA mediated reprogramming. It is also an ideal system for reprogramming blood cells.
